{"id":1608,"date":"2011-10-12T16:33:08","date_gmt":"2011-10-12T22:33:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mrlang.ca\/Blog\/?p=1608"},"modified":"2011-10-12T16:33:08","modified_gmt":"2011-10-12T22:33:08","slug":"wednesday-october-12","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mrlang.ca\/new\/?p=1608","title":{"rendered":"Wednesday October 12"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><em>Parent Night \u2013 Wednesday, October 12, 2011, Tonight.\u00a0<\/em> The evening will be broken up into two sessions &#8211;\u00a0the first will be from 7:00-7:45 pm with Dr. Sharon Friesen from the University of Calgary sharing her thoughts and ideas regarding formative assessment.\u00a0 The second session will be from 8:00-8:45 pm focussing in on accessing our school\u2019s technology both for assisting families, but also how to access the student\u2019s ongoing work and assessments utilizing D2L (Desire 2 Learn).\u00a0 Parents are welcome to attend one or both sessions which will be held in the main school gym.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>7-01 &amp; 7-07<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have your Questions for Memoirists ready for tomorrow as we will continue to work on our memoirs<\/li>\n<li>Finish filling out as much as you can about what you know about your family&#8217;s history. Once you have done this please begin asking your family to find out more information. We will need this for <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Monday October 17<\/strong><\/span>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>8-04<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You will have time tomorrow and Friday to continue working on your <a href=\"http:\/\/mrlang.ca\/Blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/10\/Humanities-8-Middle-Ages-Project.pdf\">Middle Ages Project<\/a>. Everything is due on <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Wednesday October 19<\/strong><\/span>.
