{"id":1947,"date":"2012-09-06T20:42:14","date_gmt":"2012-09-07T02:42:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mrlang.ca\/Blog\/?p=1947"},"modified":"2012-09-06T20:42:14","modified_gmt":"2012-09-07T02:42:14","slug":"thursday-sept-6","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mrlang.ca\/new\/?p=1947","title":{"rendered":"Thursday Sept 6"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I showed both classes an animated video of <a href=\"http:\/\/sirkenrobinson.com\/skr\/rsa-animate-changing-education-paradigms\" target=\"_blank\">Sir Ken Robinson&#8217;s speech on &#8220;Changing Education\u00a0Paradigms.<\/a>&#8221; My hope of doing this was to get everyone thinking about themselves as learners and what their passions, strengths, and needs are.<\/p>\n<p><strong>8-23<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>All forms handed out on the first day of classes should be handed in by tomorrow so please make sure that you get these in.<\/li>\n<li>Think about what we can do with our class name and logo \/ mascot \/ dance \/ skit \/ song \/ poster ideas as we will visit this again tomorrow.<\/li>\n<li>Please complete the Meeeee sheets for tomorrow so that I can look over them on the weekend.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>9-27<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Remember to have your Canada quiz with you tomorrow so that we can finish going over it. I was really pleased to see the level of participation in the class and also the respect for your classmates.
