The weather may no be great so please come prepared for anything as the run will still continue. Please try to bring a donation if you are able to.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>I will put in Scholastic book orders on Friday as I forgot to remind everyone.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>8-23<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Your writing assignment that we have been working on in class is <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>due this Friday<\/strong><\/span>. I am collecting the assignment each day as I want to see what you are able to produce in class. You should be finished or close to being finished your first draft. I would use Thursday for doing your proof reading and editing and possibly beginning your published copy. You could then use class time on Friday to finish everything up.<\/li>\n<li>Remember your novel on Thursday.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/mrlang.ca\/Blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/TB-Worldview.pdf\">Here is a copy of the Tom Baines Worldview chart<\/a>\u00a0that we did together in class if you need to add more to your own.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>9-27<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I had lots of fun today with the 30 second speeches. Even though it took much longer than I was expecting I hope that you got something out of it. Please <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">be prepared to present your rant on Thursday<\/span> <\/strong>as there is no backing out now.
