Remember that they are student led and therefore, the student must attend.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>8-23<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tomorrow is our first\u00a0Lifeskill&#8217;s\u00a0Breakfast Club. Please remember your items if tomorrow is your day (Akosha, Jacky, Jonny, Lamis, Nolan, Tara).<\/li>\n<li>We began exploring what effective public speaking looks like \u00a0and also what makes a good presentation. Try to reflect on what we talked about today and see where you could improve.<\/li>\n<li>We also started exploring information that is required to properly reference resources that you use.<\/li>\n<li>Please bring in Halloween items to decorate our door and window for the contest. Think about how you can tie your items into your class name\/theme.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>9-27<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We explored the idea that poetry is read in way that enhances the expression that the poet was trying to convey. We also looked at a number of examples from a spoken word festival.<\/li>\n<li>Captain Canuck project is now due on <strong>Wednesday October 31<\/strong>. You will be given time tomorrow and on Monday to work on this.
