I recommend that everyone holds on to assignments and projects when they are handed back so if there is a concern with your mark it can be addressed. A great example of this was one of my Grade 9 students noticed that her D2L mark showed that she was missing an assignment. She showed me the assignment and the mark on it and I made the corrections. However, if she did not have the assignment and the mark I would have had a really hard time giving her any marks for it. Remember that your teachers are humans and make mistakes especially when we see so many students. Therefore, make sure you are on top of things just in case your teachers are not.

- Today was the last day that we will be working in the Learning Commons on your Children’s Immigration Story Project. Tomorrow and Thursday we will be in the class with laptops. Remember that you must be ready to present on Friday June 3 because we are beginning our final project next week and will have no time for this.

- Today was the last class I am giving you to work on the “Quality of Life in Canada” assignment. All you should have left to do is Part 2. Remember that you can access the report card and article in the Social Studies 9-29 D2L shell. This is due on Friday June 3.
