- We continued working on writing poetry and explored “alliteration” and its use in poetry. My hope is that everyone will begin to see poetry as something that they can enjoy and that it is not scary, or at least should not be. I am asking that everyone works on writing poetry. It does not matter the topic or style; however, I would like you to think about what your purpose is and what you are trying to express. Please do not write just because I asked you to.
- We explored parts of “Monty Python’s Quest for the Holy Grail” to look at some aspects of the Middle Ages prior to beginning our presentations. You can find the clips we watched today on Youtube by searching for “Monty Python’s Quest for the Holy Grail” and “Witch,” “Black night,” “Bring out your dead,” “Holy hand grenade,” and “Tale of Sir Robin.”
- Please be read to present tomorrow because we will be continuing and finishing the presentations.
