Mr. Fodchuk has left Tom Baines a bit early because of an illness. He is working to get caught up on the assignment and projects that he did while he was here with the students. Ms. McAuley and myself are working hard to finish off the projects that he had begun so that we can see them through and so that the students understand that their hard work was not in vain.
It is my understanding that Mr. Fodchuk will most likely not be available for Parent Teacher and Student Led Conferences because of his illness. Ms. McAuley, and I, will do our best to reflect the learning that your child has undergone during the last two months. However, Mr. Fodchuk was teaching 100% of this time and therefore our evidence may be limited. We are doing our best to get his assessments in and online so that you can review them. We appreciate your understanding on this matter.
I hope to send out a letter tomorrow in regards to the current situation so that you are well informed.
Thank you.

- We are trying to finish off the work from Mr. Fodchuk. This included having the students present their stories and hand in their planning, and work on their News Cast skits that they will be presenting tomorrow. There will likely be some time for them tomorrow to work on this as well but I would recommend that they come prepared to present.
- Remember that you must bring a novel on Monday and Wednesday. This should not be a surprise as we have been doing this since the start of the year. Please make sure that you are staying on top of things.

- You will be given some time tomorrow to work on your Worldview Skits before you perform them in front of the class.
- Overall, excellent job on the poetry. It was great to see some of you taking a chance and challenging yourself during this topic. I hope that you are also more aware of what poetry is and that you are no longer afraid to express yourself.
