- I was impressed by how hard everyone was working on their “How You Have Made My Life Better Letter”. However, I think some of you are struggling to write your first draft because you did not put the effort and time into the brainstorming and planning/outline portion of the assignment. Please have your rough draft almost finished or finished for Tuesday December 20.
- Today was the last class time that is going to be given for the First Nations Jigsaw Expert Group Research. If you feel like you are behind then you should use time outside of school to get caught up. We will look at this again on Monday December 19.

- Mr. Hicks and I have been having some tough conversations with you about how your learning is your responsibility. We have been hearing a number of excuses, and although most are probably valid, you need to start making choices. We try to allow as much class time as possible to complete your work. However, some of you are choosing not to use this time effectively. Some of you are also becoming annoyed by some of your classmates and we are trying to encourage you to start making chooses that will have a positive impact on your learning. Please remember that doing nothing is not that answer.
- Italian City States project is still due tomorrow. Some of you asked about handing it in late. If that is the choice you are making then you will have to accept the consequences if there are any.
