- It is nice to see some of you opening up to poetry and taking some risks with respect to sharing some of the work you have written as well as work from published poets.
- Today we discussed the difference between primary and secondary sources and then used some of this information to start analyzing some artifacts. We will continue this tomorrow.
- Please make sure to have your first journal response for the Literature Circles completed tomorrow, Wednesday March 21.

- Today we began working on our Aztec Codices and also the Spanish Conquistador’s Compass. We are just beginning this and we will discuss the due date when we return from Spring Break.
- Your next reading response journal entry is due on Wednesday April 4. The first week back from Spring Break.
