- It is great to see so many of you getting into your books. Remember that when you are reading at home to spend at least 20 minutes doing this without an interruption or else you will find it difficult to get into your story.
- I would recommend that you are finished the Middle Ages Worldview chart for tomorrow so that you can move on and start planning for your research
- A number of you have asked about your “First Writing Assignment.” Yes, I am assessing it, and to be honest I have been able to finish yet as things, such as life, have been getting in the way. I will do my best to have them done for your on Tuesday.

- It was awesome to see some of you getting into the poetry and taking a risk to share your expressions. If you did not finish your poem today please work on that at home. Here is a link to information about the Def Jam Poetry Slam.
- Think about a topic that you could use for your Editorial Cartoon. I also understood that some of you were a bit bored with looking at political cartoons or felt that it was dragging on which is why I switched it today. However, I would like you to stand up for your learning and let me know when you want to try something different, are bored, find the work too easy or too hard, or if you have another idea about how to approach the learning. I will try my best to help all of you be engaged with what is going on.
- Please remember to bring your books tomorrow as you will be given time to read.
