- Last week you were working on “Found” poetry with Ms. Buchoski. You should have handed in your work today as she provided you enough time to complete this last week.
- Please continue to write poems. They can by in any style or form and about any topic. I just want you to explore different ways of expressing yourself. Make sure to keep all of your poems as you will need all of them soon enough.

- Today, we looked at and discussed examples of essays and narratives based on a past LA PAT. We spent time exploring what results in quality writing in both styles and I asked you to consider what you feel more comfortable with.
- Tomorrow you will be given time to practice a essay/narrative piece of writing in the specific time allotted for the exam. On Wednesday you will have a chance to do practice the business letter.
- In order to prepare for this I encourage you to look over the examples that are provided to you from previous years. Make sure to look at the rubrics that are provided for reasons about the assessment.
