- Make sure that your artifact assignment is completed to the best of your ability by Thursday October 22.
- I encourage more of you to bring your novels home with you so that you can also be reading them there. I will try and create a survey for your parents to fill out about your reading.
- The first/rough draft of your memoir is due on Tuesday October 27. You will also have Thursdays class to try to work on your memoir but you might want to take it home to get some extra work finished. If you have already finished your first draft then you should now be working on looking at where you can celebrate on your thoughts and ideas to give your reader a better idea of what is happening. Remember to also think about word choice.

- I encourage more of you to bring your novels home with you so that you can also be reading them there. I will try and create a survey for your parents to fill out about your reading.
- Try to write some poetry outside of the class time that I give you. We will be working on this for another few weeks and then you will be given your poetry project that will see you using your poetry in unique ways.
- Please try to finish the general Italian City State notes from the textbook for tomorrow’s class. You should be using the chart that I gave you to organize your notes so that they they are easy to understand.
- Next Reading Response Journal is due tomorrow Wednesday October 21.
