If everything goes well the report cards will be handed out on Monday February 22. There have been some updates on the report card system with the Calgary Board of Education that has caused a few issues that are trying to be resolved in time. Once the report cards go home I will update the marks to reflect the current term.

- I encourage you all to work on your short stories at home. I give very little homework if any so I am expecting that you please work roughly one hour a week on your short stories. By the end of next week you should be getting close to being finished

- Even have spent a great deal of time working on your essays so far. I am asking that you try to have your conclusion finished by the end of class on Tuesday February 23 as we will be looking at the completed rough drafts on Thursday February 25.
- You are being given ample time to complete your research for the Trial of Hernan Cortes. It is very important that you read over all of the instructions for your part as well as what you are expected to know for the trial. Remember that you will be getting marked differently depending on your role in the trial so please look at the rubric.
