It looks like some of you have already taken off early for Spring Break and that more of you will be gone tomorrow. Please have fun and try and get some rest. A reminder that there is no school this Friday, March 23.

- Today we finished examining the artifacts and I am asking that you finish analyzing them by answering the primary source questions about each. Please finish at least two of the three artifacts and hand this in tomorrow, March 21.
- Please make sure hat you are prepared for the literature circle discussion when you return on Monday April 2.
- Think about alliteration and some of the poetic devices that we discussed today to see if you can incorporate some of them into the poetry that you are writing.

- We began talking about short stories and some of the elements involved with narratives. We brain stormed some ideas for characters and then selected one that we would like to write about. From here we worked on a questionnaire to help us develop a better understanding of the character.
- Please continue working on your Aztec Codice and Spanish Conquistador Compass by gathering information for the topics you are selecting to do yours on.
