Robotics 8A
- Some impressive robots today in the competition. I was impressed by the work that all of you did especially those of you that had never used the Mindstorm kits before.
- For next class please make sure to complete your reflection / appraisal. Here are the questions I had on the board today: Think about your design. What worked, what didn’t work, what would you change, what worked for others, why were some faster than others. If you would like to do this in Google Drive please remember to put it in the folder that you created.
Robotics 8B
- Today we began working on the duplicate or accessory assignments. I hope that everyone is starting to find Sketchup a bit easier to use. Remember that it takes time and we are not looking for or expecting perfection. This is just an introduction and the more that you use the tools the better you will become at this.
Robotics 8C
- You were given time today to continue working on the “Program a Human” assignment. This will be do on Thursday, April 10.
- I also introduced Codecademy and asked you to begin going through the HTML & CSS – Basic HTML Tutorial. We will be continuing this on Friday.
Robotics 9
- We continued working on the EV3 Checklists. All groups are now starting to work with the sensors and some have moved on to the advanced projects.
- For the advanced project you are to complete the planning sheet with your group. I shared this with you when you did the Fastest Robot reflection / appraisal. I will go over this more next class.
