Your teachers are reasonable people and we understand that you are busy and have live outside of school. However, it is not acceptable to show up the day an assignment is due and say that you did not have enough time and request more time. If you know you are going to be busy or can not get an assignment done on time then you need to approach your teacher as soon as you realize this so that we can make other arrangements. Please start taking more initiative and responsibility for your learning.

- Continue working on your Canada Fair projects. You will have a few more days of school time to work on your displays before we start preparing for the fair itself.
- Remember about the due dates for your Reading Response Journals.

- Remember that you can talk to me if you are not happy with your mark on an assignment so that we can discuss where you went wrong and how you can improve. Even though I am laid back I have high standards and expectations for you.
- For Monday please have the majority if not all of the research done for the Captain Canuck project so that we can begin putting it together.
