- Today we spent some time working on writing and exploring poetry. It is great to see so many more people wanting to share their work with the class. I was even more surprised when you asked about doing a Poetry Slam after I should you “On What Teacher’s Make” by Taylor Mali and “We Are More” by Shane Koyczan. You can take a look at some of the other work they have done by searching them up on Youtube. If you put in “Poetry Slam” you can find much more too.
- We began working on some note taking skills that we will continue to work on tomorrow once you have time for independent reading.
