Robotics 8C

  • We started to look at the Lego Mindstorm NXT kits today. Think about how you can design something to make it go straight. Use what you know and what is around you, such as the transportation in the City of Calgary, to help you come up with ideas. We will continue building next class.
  • Start showing the students in your homeroom about Google Drive and how they can access it and what they can do with it.

  • We started exploring the difference between robots and machines today. For next class please try and think about robots that are in our world and how we use them, and how they help us.

  • We started to look at programming today. For next class please pick a task for your “Program a Human” assignment. Remember you are to pretend that the human does not know anything so your instructions will need to be detailed. Feel free to sign up for your Scratch account on your own so that you can start playing. Please use your CBE-email address to do this.
