Tuesday May 4

There are only six weeks left in school before the end of the year exams and projects. Please remember that this is a time to focus because the fourth term along with your final projects or exams counts for roughly one third of your mark for the year. The end of the year is also often filled with nice weather, we can only hope, and also many interruptions and distractions. Try to use your class time as effectively as possible and keep up with all assignments, projects, and homework.

7-13

  • We continue our research on the Final Project. Remember, you should be researching why and how the primary source is important to you and your family and what the significance of the primary source is. You do not need to use the Internet or books as your family and relatives might be the best resources that you can find. Please use the checklist to help you keep on track. You will have tomorrow’s class as well as Thursday’s class to complete your research. After this it will be up to you to finish.
  • You will be given two periods next week to work on the presentation for your final project and to practice it. You will be presenting sometime during the later weeks of May.
  • We will be begin watching the documentaries on Monday May 10.
  • Please make sure to return the permission forms for the blogging project relating to digital citizenship. We would like them back tomorrow so that we can proceed.

  • Continue working on your poetry. I would recommend putting it in a folder or getting a book or journal to write all of your poetry in. This way it won’t get lost. Also remember that poetry doesn’t have be in a certain style or form and can be written about any topic.
