You will have one week of class time to work on your projects and they will be due on Monday May 11. Remember that this is your culminating project for our measurement unit. For those of you that did not do that last unit project please use this time to do a good job on this project so that you can bring your mark up.

Make sure that you cover all of the requirements so that you will be able ot get the highest mark possible.

  • Please remember to bring your Measurement Quizzes on Monday because we will be going over them. I know that many of you are not happy with your marks. However, like we talked about before you need to start taking charge of your learning.
  • We will continue our Planet Earth Student Created Centres on Monday. I am really impressed but what a great job you did on these and how well you have been working with your groups. Keep up the good work.
  • Picasso Unit Project is due on Monday May 11.

  • If you did not hand in your Reading Response Journal then please make sure that you get it in ASAP as there were a number that were not in on time.
  • Continue thinking about how you are able to persuade people through writing and about the topic that you have chosen to write about.
  • We will beginning a new project on Monday for Social Studies so please come prepared.

  • We will be starting our Science Centres tomorrow so it is important that you have all of your materials ready to go.

  • Reading Response Journal is due tomorrow Wednesday May 6.
  • Awesome job on the Passionate Poetic Perspectives. It was great to see so many interesting and unique ideas and the willingness of most of you to share your work with the class. We hope that we have inspired the poets in some of you and made all of you realize that poetry is simply an expression and the form that it takes is limitless.

Video Production

  • Make sure that you have everything at school and ready to go for Thursday’s class as we will begin filming that day.

I have printed out missing assignment sheets for all of the students that are missing assignments. This has been done in the hope that many of the students will complete missing assignments in order to bring up their grades. Please remember that by going to the Marks section of the website and logging in you will be able to see any assignments that are still out standing, assignments that I have requested to be redone, and also times where I have asked the students to come and talk to me because there is something that I noticed that needs to be addressed.

There are not many more days until the end of the school year so it is very important to keep up with your school work.
